Sunset Cemetery
6 acres of roadway reconstruction
WORK: Reclaiming, milling, concrete stormwater pipe and catch basin repair, grading and asphalt
The cemetery had been spending money every year on costly spot repairs. We put together a pavement rehabilitation schedule that provided a finished look to the property with significant cost-savings.

Beltmann Group
5 acre parking lot reconstruction
WORK: Reclaiming, milling, geotextiles, curb and gutter repair, concrete truck pads, irrigation repair, asphalt and striping
Their business operates 24 hours a day, 7 days and week; therefore, it was important for our pavement reconstruction work to cause the least amount of disruption. We developed a plan to phase the work around the site’s busiest times and areas.
Rethinking the Parking Lot
Low-Impact Development and Parking Lots
As a company that designs and installs both paving and ecological landscaping projects, we make use of conventional methods and, whenever possible, alternative techniques that mitigate stormwater runoff. We have a passion for protecting one of our greatest resources, water, and thoughtful construction is a big part of this goal.

Parkway Place Townhomes
21 townhome complex
WORK: Design, reclaiming, excavating, grading, curbing, asphalt, rain gardens, bioswale, pre-treatment forebays, permeable pavers and native plantings
The association was initially planning on simply repaving their roadways and driveways, but then decided it was the best time to consider other, more earth-friendly, options. Now the property is much greener - both visually, with thousands of new plants, and environmentally. They have created a community gathering space while simultaneously saving thousands of dollars annually on their city stormwater fees.

Minnesota Association of Professional Employees
Office building
WORK: Design, reclaiming, excavating, grading, concrete stormwater planters, asphalt, and native plantings
Altering the grades of the parking lot for stormwater treatment provides a unique look to what had been another big, expansive lot of asphalt. These four planters are positioned along the center of the lot to receive all the parking lot runoff. The water then filters through well-draining soils and native plants before overflowing into a suspended draintile that is connected to the city catch basin.
